The Commonwealth Secretariat Staff Credit Union (CSSCU) is there for you with flexible, approachable financial services, whether it’s for personal loans or savings.
Membership of the Credit Union is open to all permanent employees of the Commonwealth Secretariat and other approved Commonwealth bodies, ex-employees who were Credit Union members at the time of leaving, and spouses of current members of the Credit Union.
Our members are more than just customers because we put you first. Our products and services are designed to help our members manage their money well and our profits are shared amongst members or used to benefit the community. You’re also protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS).
The Commonwealth Secretariat Staff Credit Union (CSSCU) is a savings and loans co-operative for present and former staff members of the Commonwealth Secretariat. It was established over 30 years ago in 1987, helped by a donation from the then Secretary-General, Sir Shridath Ramphal. It is regulated under the Financial Services Act and collectively owned by its members, all of whom are shareholders.
